This guitar model is made in the style of 19th Century builder René Lacote. This is the style of guitar played by Fernando Sor.

This guitar is extremely easy to play due to a shorter scale (string) length and a slightly more narrow fingerboard width at the nut.

The basses are very strong and the trebles are sweet with good balance. The Sitka spruce gives it a quick response.

In the French style, the back is lined with spruce on the inside which gives a very sweet tone.

NOT FRICTION TUNERS - The tuners are PegHeds with internal gearing.

The peg heads look like standard friction peg heads but they are really internally geared so they work as smoothly as machine heads.

The rosette is especially striking made of primarily of albalone.

The sound is loud, clear and sweet and has that characteristic 19th century guitar sound. It is a more delicate sound than the modern classical guitar.

Price: $5,000 US dollars and $300 for a custom fitted Cedar Creek case - Sale Pending.
